Check the Russian Weapons thread.
At this point, as a Pvt. your weapon would be the M1891/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle or the carbine version of it (I forget the designation).

As an assault sniper, what weapon(s) do I carry?

Assault sniper = designated marksman
You would carry a Mosin-Nagant with a scope and possibly a TT-33 handgun.

So that's all I get? I thought a Mosin would be one slot and a side arm a half slot. That means I still have one slot left.

Dude, you're Russian. If you got four bullets a day you would consider yourself lucky.

If you got a gun in addition to the four bullets you'd be even luckier.

When can we start using the Tokarev? I think that was made in 1940.
Well I guess I will have the Mosin, the TT-33 and a couple grenades, yes?

You can already use it, but dont expected the stock to be large. Allthough it was a high quality weapon, it was expensive to make and thus given to rare soldiers. Those that did get it however had great problem of finding proper ammunition.

You could try appropriating a German luger or walther once the fighting starts... prolly easier to find ammo for it too.
Anyways, as a Major, can I have both the Tokarev TT and the PPSch-41?
